Michael Beutler, Pump House Block, 2016

This edition by Michael Beutler was produced on the occasion of the artist’s solo exhibition at Nottingham Contemporary in 2016, Pump House. 

The edition was created out of hand painted and printed paper that was created during the duration of his Nottingham Contemporary exhibition and references a sample book in its form.

Every edition is unique and contains different samples of these painted papers, each with a unique front work.

All profits raised from the sale of this limited-edition work support Nottingham Contemporary’s free programme of exhibitions, educational activities and research programmes.

Michael Beutler (b. 1976) is a German born artist whose installations inhabit and transform spaces. They are formed in response to architectural and social structures found at each exhibition site.
