Maker Profile: I Am Acrylic
I Am Acrylic are Brendan Fan and Ruth Williams. They met whilst studying fine art back in the 90's, and have been making whimsical acrylic jewellery together since 2004.
Located in the heart of Bristol on the Christmas Steps, you’ll find the I Am Acrylic shop and studio, where Ruth and Brendan use noisy fretsaws and other tools to make all their acrylic jewellery (they don't use any laser cutting).
Their designs are inspired by a love of flora and fauna, vintage knick-knacks, and bold , graphic design styles of the 1950s-1970's.
